We can all agree that when you look good, you feel good.

A Quick Beauty Routine to Feel Good While Social Distancing

Scroll down for a beauty routine that will make you feel good without spending hours.

Start and end your day with a clean face – Even if you washed your face last night, your skin accumulates environmental debris in your sleep. Therefore, it’s a good idea to wash your face in the morning (unless you have dry skin). Having a freshly cleaned face feels incredible and refreshing in the morning. I use the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser as it’s fragrance-free and doesn’t strip my skin.

Prep the skin – Use a light moisturizer to moisturize the skin and make the skin look less dull. I like to use Paulas Choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid as it wears nicely under makeup and contains SPF 50. If you go out on your yard or deck during the day, don’t forget to use SPF!

Embrace your natural beauty with some makeup – First, start with your brows. I’ve been really into feathery brows lately as it looks effortless and I can do them in seconds with the help of some good eyebrow gel. I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel as it keeps my brows in place all day long when I brush my brow hairs up. Next, apply some concealer on your under-eye to brighten up your under eyes. Instead of applying foundation, try using a tinted moisturizer or a concealer to spot conceal blemishes to allow your skin to shine through and breathe. One of my current favorite drugstore concealers is the Covergirl Trublend Undercover Concealer. Don’t forget to put on some mascara. I love the KVD Vegan Beauty Go Big Or Go, Home Mascara because it makes the lashes look full in a natural way. Next, apply some highlighter, bronzer, and blush to make you feel like a sun-kissed, glowing goddess. Lastly, apply a bright lipstick to show off your beautiful smile and give a pop to your subtle makeup look. I used the Rimmel Lasting Finish Extreme Lipstick in shade, lit. It’s a fun, coral lipstick that wears nicely and feels hydrating on.

Style your hair in a top knot – the top knot hairstyle can be done under 1 minute and is so chic. Most importantly, you can do this hairstyle right after the shower or do it on no-wash days. I like to use a scrunchie when I do a top knot to more it more feminine and playful.

Give yourself a manicure – Gradient nails (when each nail is a different shade creating a gradient effect) is one of the quickest nail designs you can do. I always feel more like a female when my nails are done beautifully. Plus, I feel so focused and relaxed when I’m painting my nails.
