DIY Marble Stone Nails: Step-by-Step Tutorial
I’ve always admired the beauty of turquoise stone. So I decided to do a turquoise marble stone nail design for the fall season. Believe it or not, this design was so easy to do! You don’t have to be a nail art expert by no means! If you’re interested in trying this out for yourself, here is a step-by-step tutorial on marble stone nails.
DIY Marble Stone Nails: Step by Step Tutorial
There are a few different ways to create the marble stone look but this is the method I use.
A few things you will need:
- Different colored permanent markers
- Clear nail polish
- Rubbing alcohol
- A small glass dish
- Detail paint brush
Step One
Paint your nails with (regular or gel) nail polish. Apply two coats so the color is opaque.
Step Two
Once your nails are completely dry, draw random strokes with a permanent marker (I find that it appears more natural when you do random and quick strokes). Optional: repeat this step with another color marker if you want more colors.
Step Three
Put some rubbing alcohol in a small glass dish. Lightly dip the detail brush in the rubbing alcohol and apply it gently on the parts of the lines to soften lines made with the permanent markers.
Step Four
Lastly, apply a top coat or a clear polish.

I’ve seen marble nails before and have always wondered how to do it. So cool!!!
This may sound stupid but can I use hydrogen peroxide instead of rubbing alcohol
Is there something I can use besides rubbing alcohol that will work just as good
