Benefits of Taking A Multi-Vitamin Daily

It’s important to not only take a multi-vitamin, but to also take it every single day. Vitamins are essential nutrients that perform numerous roles in the body. Though, it is important to keep in mind that multi-vitamins should be taken as a booster to your well-balanced diet, rather than a replacement for food—nothing can ever replace food.

Take a high-quality multi-vitamin

It’s essential to take a high-quality multivitamin that contains all essential vitamins. The vitamins to look for in a multivitamin are: vitamin D, vitamin B-12, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, and folate. Also, it is crucial to check for the percentages—select one that has 100% of the recommended value for most vitamins. Most importantly, take a multi-vitamin that is formulated for your age and gender. For example, if you are 55, take a multi-vitamin that is for 50 plus.

  • I’ve been taking a multivitamin for years now. My boys take their own, so we remind each other and take them at the same time every day.

  • I am so bad about taking a multivitamin for myself, but I’ve found that I’m diligent about making sure my kids take one. So, I just take mine the same time they take theirs. I love that the facility for this brand is FDA registered, and that everything is non GMO!

  • I stopped taking vitamins and I’m not sure why. I need to start back up again. I certainly notice a difference when I do!

  • I take a multivitamin every day and have done for years… but, like you say, it is not a substitute for a healthy, balanced diet.

  • I take multivitamins for 30 days every three months, as this is what doctor suggested for my body. There are really so many benefits! I need to find one to help me loose some weight also haha.

  • Getting some vitamins in every day is definitely necessary! I am on a system called Thrive – that gives me my nutrients all day long through a patch I wear. I have an autoimmune and so have lots of deficiencies and this has saved me.
