Top Drugstore Foundations For Dry Skin 2018
September is almost over, which ultimately means the cold months are sneaking up on us. Cold weather means that our skin is going to be the driest. Therefore, here’s a list of top rated drugstore foundations for dry skin for those who are on a budget!
Top Drugstore Foundations For Dry Skin 2018
First and foremost, make sure to always apply a moisturizer or an illuminating primer prior to applying any foundation to your face—this is an essential step to combating dry skin.
Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth
If you have severe dry skin, I recommend trying the Mabelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth because it is very hydrating. However, if you have slightly dry/normal skin, I recommend trying the Matte + Poreless one because the Dewy + Smooth one might just be too dewy for you—and as a result, it will possibly not wear long. The Matte + Poreless one is not drying like you would think and feels comfortably on the skin. I personally prefer the formula on the Mayelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless on my skin—keep in mind that I don’t have severe dry skin. I always recommend the Fit Me line specifically to those who acne prone because it is a few of makeup products that are completely free of comedogenic ingredients.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation
Another one of my drugstore favorites during the cold season is the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation. This foundation feels lightweight on the skin and is hydrating. Since it is hydrating, this foundations is ideal for normal to dry skin types. I particularly like this foundation because it is long wearing.

Milani CONCEAL + PERFECT 2-IN-1 FOUNDATION
If you’re looking for a foundation to take flawless Instagram pictures, this is it! This formula is thick, creamy, and smooth. Since this is a full coverage foundation, you don’t need to use a concealer.

Now tell me, are there any other drugstore foundations you recommend for dry skin?
I’m always seeing Maybelline on sale at CVS! Nice to see they make stuff for dry skin!
Thanks for sharing those great products. I love Maybeline foundation which I’ve been using for a while.
I’ll have to try the L’Oreal foundation, I use other products of theirs. I like having spf in my makeup when I wear it since I live in the south. It doesn’t get really cold here but my skin still gets so dry in the winter.
YES on the moisturizer first!!! Honestly, I rarely wear foundation, and have never had good luck with drugstore brands – but yes, I always moisturize underneath first thing – so important!
The L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow sounds like a good option. The Maybelline may be better though since it is completely free of comedogenic ingredients.
All of these products are so awesome. Thank you so much for sharing.
L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation is perfect to our skin and it’s really trusted! I’m using L’Oreal products esp makes up 🙂
Oh this is perfect, I’ve been debating on picking on a foundation but haven’t really known where to go because of my dry skin! I’ll have to work my way through your list and see what’s my favorite!
I really need to narrow it down and try one of your choices. This is my issue these days – has always been – the dry skin always. Love this idea. 🙂
I like the Maybelline Dewy FitMe foundation. Their color match is good and the formula is the perfect balance of good coverage and natural finish.
Those are some really great foundation. The L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation is my favorite.
I have combination but this was a great start on my search for new makeup favorites!
These are great. I have dry skin and always struggle with finding the right makeup for it !
