My Favorites From Covergirl’s New Spring Collection

Spring is the perfect time to embrace bright colors! I’m definitely a fan of nudes, but I love fun, bright colors for spring and summer! I was fortunate enough for Covergirl to send me their entire Spring collection for me to try out! When I first opened the package, I was amazed to see all of their bright lippies. I’m a lippie fanatic, so I was immediately excited to try all of them! Now that I got to play with everything, I wanted to share with you guys the products from their Spring Collection that stood out to me!

My Favorites From Covergirl’s Spring Collection

Queen Major Shade Matte Liquid Lipsticks

Retails at $8.99

This liquid lipstick collection has a wide range of nudes and fun colors. You do have to put on a couple of coats to build maximum opaqueness. However, it looks beautiful and is long wearing even after eating or drinking. Out of the two mate liquid lipsticks they sent me, Queen Major Shade’s formula is my favorite. I can’t stop wearing the shade “Insider” from this collection — it is a beautiful cool tone nude shade. The shade “bae” is a beautiful coral color to wear during spring and summer.

Melting Pout Matte Liquid Lipsticks

Retails at $6.99

This liquid lipstick applies so easily and feels soft on the lips. The formula is thin and feels comfortable. These lipsticks are also long-lasting, but do need to be reapplied throughout the day. I am obsessed with the shade “Coral Chronicles.”

Melting Pout Glitz

Retails at $6.99

The melting pout glitz adds such a nice touch of sparkle to any matte lip. If you like sparkles, you will like the Melting Pout Glitz as a top coat.

Katy Kat Gloss

Retails at $6.99

First off, these lip glosses are hella pigmented! These lipglosses are a bit sticky, but I personally don’t mind it. If you love a bold, bright red, you got to try the shade “ninth life”! Below are my swatches of all the fun spring colors in this collection!

Katy Kat 8 Pan Eyeshadow Palette

Retails at $9.99

I’ve been using the Hot Kat palette and I really love the warm tones in this palette. They have a nice transitioning shade on this palette as well as pretty pigmented shimmer shades. The shimmer shades (especially the cat shaped shadows) have a lot of kickback. However, it’s fine when you tap the excess off. The Cool Kat palettes has a lot of fun unicorn colors that are fun to wear!

Get In Line Eyeliner

Retails at $7.99

One of my favorite items from this collection is the Get In Line Eyeliner. The brush is so small and precise, making it a breeze to create a snatched winged eyeliner. I also like how the eyeliner doesn’t flake or crack. This eyeliner is definitely a win for me!

Lid Lock Up Eyeshadow Primer

Retails at $7.99

This eyelid primer has helped my eyeshadows to stay on all day long and be creaseless.

Look Lock Up Setting Mist

Retails at 9.99

This setting mist smells just like cucumbers! I did noticed that this allowed my makeup to stay all day long. If you have really dry skin, you might now like this setting spray because it contains alcohol and may dry out your skin.

Vitalist Healthy Glow Highlighter

Retails at $8.99

These cream highlighters give such a pretty dewy natural glow. These are perfect to use on a no makeup makeup look. My cheeks aren’t oily so they stay on nicely. However, if you have oily skin, they will most likely not stay put all day. These highlighters are in a tiny container, so you cannot use a fan brush. I personally use a R36 brush to apply this highlighter and it does it wonderfully.
